Also if you want to benchmark a drive yourself don't use BlackMagic Speed test on MacOs it's not a good test of the sustained performance. Use AmorphousDiskMark as it can give you better information about the drive and you can set and 64GB test and see how the random and sequential read/write effect performance.. You can do multiple pass 64GiB test to make the drive hit it's cache.
